The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative, in partnership with First Ladies Health Initiative, hosted the second-ever official Stronger Together Maternal Health Panel & Resource Fair in Chicago, IL! This health fair took place in the form of a Maternal Mortality Health Panel and Health Resource Fair, which brought together medical professionals, first ladies, and community partners, providing attendees with direct access to experts (including interactive Q&A sessions). Specifically, this event, with 26+ vendors, included a panel that spotlighted disparities in maternal healthcare, the importance of home blood pressure monitoring, and the power of peer support during the postpartum period.
