THE WHITE RIBBON RELAY
To recognize November Lung Cancer Awareness Month, all of our collegiate chapters are participating in the first-ever cross-country White Ribbon Relay (WRR)! The White Ribbon Project (TWRP), started by Pierre and Heidi Onda, serves to increase lung cancer awareness and change the perception of lung cancer by making and distributing white ribbons, which serve as symbols of unity and love within the lung cancer community.
In the 2023-24 White Ribbon Relay, five white ribbons, starting from different locations within the US, have travelled to 51 ALCSI chapters and other sites across 27 states in the US!
We invite you to follow us as our white ribbons move across the country through each of our chapters!
