Our Collaboration with LUNGevity
The LUNGevity Foundation is committed to developing a world where no one dies from lung cancer. During November's Lung Cancer Awareness Month, LUNGevity will be hosting multiple events, including the Breathe Deep TOGETHER Lung Health Resource Fairs and Community Walks along with nationwide community engagement through Breath Deep Anywhere. These initiatives will be complemented by social media education campaigns focused on disease education, the importance of lung cancer screening, and a month-long awareness campaign. This November, ALCSI is excited to partner with LUNGevity to host Breathe Deep TOGETHER walks around the country in each of our ALCSI chapters!
To kick off Lung Cancer Awareness Month, the Breathe Deep TOGETHER Lung Health Resource Fairs and Community Walks will be held on November 8, 2025, in Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C. The Lung Health Resource Fair will bring together local businesses, hospitals, and patient advocacy groups to distribute educational resources to their communities. Additionally, this event will be a great way for caregivers and parents to learn how to support and advocate for their patients while learning about the importance of lung health and screening. With Breathe Deep TOGETHER, people are coming together to raise awareness about lung cancer and help raise funds for lung cancer research.
If someone is not residing in Boston, NYC, or DC, they can participate in the comfort of their location through the Breathe Deep Anywhere on Saturday, November 8, 2025, or throughout November with one of our ALCSI chapters! You can find details and register for these walks here.
